Appearance

Born to a tribe of Seekers of the Sun, Sato has all but abandoned his once held family name. From the tribal prefix, and even the ‘title’ he once had. Coming to be known as just — “Sato”.For reasons unbeknownst to others, Sato is tribeless. Some have assumed he was once part of one due to his facial markings, but they are merely birth marks non-Miqo’te mistake for tribal markings. Other than those, the Seeker lacks any form of discernible tribal roots.Sato himself is well-built with a muscular form, and has a decent amount of physical strength to boot. A vast wardrobe sits at his disposal — though mostly pink — he does have other colors he enjoys wearing every now and then too.

Personality

A chaotic, and well-intentioned presence full of vigor, stamina, and aetheric ability. Too few words can properly encapsulate the Seeker’s personality. A working analogy would be to describe him as a never-drying clay, that can be endlessly worked to fit into any mold he desires. A constantly changing person, adapting to his environment and to fit in where he can.He’s passionate, well-studied, and quite a charmer too. A social butterfly that weaves through the community with grace. Something that often aids as a bard, in his miniature performances. A hobby that has taken on a more enjoyable tone for him.

This particular Seeker has quite a few tools within his expansive arsenal. Though he often opts for the aetheric variety, he isn't unfamiliar with more traditional or physical forms of weaponry.He does not claim to be part of any one school of magic, and the sheer variety of spells he wields makes it difficult to discern their exact origin. One could rightly assume that he hails from Sharlayan with his extensive magical knowledge and the peculiar tools he occassional uses.

  • Traveler - Often moving from place to place, Sato can be seen in various locations. From as far as the Far East, and rumored to have even visited the fabled New World, Mamook.

A Brief Introduction

Once, a tribal Miqo’te, Sato has all but abandoned that old lifestyle. The tattoos he once donned on his appearance have been carefully, and painstakingly erased. Not one ilm of his history remains upon him.It isn’t entirely certain why he holds such disdain for that history, but it is clearly something he wishes to forget and, at least not be associated with on any regard.

Love or Lust?

Regarded with similarities to ‘the Lover’ card, Sato hasn’t had the greatest luck of keeping a partner. Be it holding the flame of romance, to the fiery close intimacies… Something, somehow would go awry, and more often than not he found himself placing the blame on he himself, even when it wasn’t exactly all his own.Lust or love? A inner turmoil that he had difficulty subduing. His heart yearned to love. For something genuine, and lasting. His body craved the carnal pleasures — the indulgences and short-term. A struggle he never was able to properly grasp even into his later adulthood.He couldn’t love, he felt. He shouldn’t feel. After all, why would it matter if he continued seeking out such… degeneracies?He was able to change that.

Recent Past

A traveler by choice, Sato has made his way across the realm to see, and experience a myriad of things. Forging connections, gaining new talents, and getting a better understanding of the world — his world — through his own, red eyes.Across the journey, he has changed and grown. Each moment helping him reach the point he is now: A well seasoned mage, with a varying physical skill set at his disposal. Additionally, a talented bard, and cook.It took time over his travels to acquire the funds, along with making the decision of where, but Sato was able to acquire his own permanent residence. Even with his regular ventures into the world it offers comfort to know he has a place to return to.

The One

A stroke of luck or a chance encounter. One way or another, his fate became intertwined with a man known as Koh’a Lheye. A Seeker of the Sun who’s name more closely followed the naming conventions of the Keepers of the Moon. Though uncommon, it’s not rare.Koh’a Lheye swiftly became someone important to him. Someone he could depend and care for. Ultimately, his heart began to yearn even as his body had already succumbed to its desire.In every aspect — Koh’a was perfection. Everything one could want, and need from a man. Packaged nicely in all the right places, and with just the right amount of gentle tender love and care.It was… An inevitability that the two would fall for one another. Day by day their love blossomed, and they found purpose within each other. A powerful love that neither had experienced before. One they hoped they wouldn’t lose.Years have passed, and that love has never once faltered. Their ambitions combined into one, and their souls conjoined as they have become bonded. Koh’a Lheye, his soul mate, is not going to be going anywhere.
